The two most common children games in the Empire are Tag and stop-stop. You all know what tag is about. For stop-stop, a person throws a ball upwards and calls one of the player’s name – this player must catch the ball, and as they do so, everyone disperses, runs, or tries to hide. Once the ball is in his possession, they shout STOP!, and everyone must remain perfectly still. The ball person can then perform up to three jumps and one throw. If he hits anyone with the ball, they lose a point, if not, he does.
All of that is unrelated because here they are just playing tag.
Tag will actually be relevant later, but it does not need explaining, does it?

I realise i’d never seen Fiadh playing/getting along with the other martyrs before. This must be why he’s forcing himself into it and being too eager to barge in, since this is the rare occasion he’s included in the play
